Hal brings to BMT a diverse range of both legal and business experience, including managing acquisitions, divestitures, equity offerings and filings, financial and corporate transactions, corporate governance, contract negotiation and administration, and complex litigation. Additionally, Hal has overseen the integration of acquisitions and the spin-off of non-strategic assets, the raising of equity and debt capital, developed strategic alliances and customer agreements, been responsible for investor relations, and managed intellectual property portfolios, among other responsibilities. As a seasoned business executive and legal professional, Hal has more than 15 years of experience in broadcast and media, transactions, operations, corporate finance and legal matters.
Prior to joining BMT, Hal was a founder and partner of Worsham, Lancaster, Helling & Rose, LLP, providing outsourced general counsel services to high growth companies in Dallas and Austin. Hal began his career with Bracewell & Patterson, LLP as a trial attorney. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and his J.D. from Southern Methodist University. He has completed the SMU Cox School of Business Management Development Program. |
