Proprietary SpectraMaxTM Software System
BMT,’s proprietary SpectraMax software system uses advanced algorithms to identify the most efficient and profitable allocation of wirelessly transmitted signals across populations, ethnicities and other demographics. Currently, 11 domestic patent claims are pending pursuant to filings made in 2007. Another 11 provisional foreign patent filings are also pending under the Patent Cooperation Treaty which covers 137 foreign countries in Europe, Asia, and South America.
All of BMT’s patents pending are based on 10 years of industry leading expertise, four years of actual development, and over $5.2 million of investment. Our patent claims are broad, encompassing all over-the-air digital or analog signal transmissions and are content and platform agnostic.
At its most basic level, SpectraMax identifies inefficiencies in all forms of wirelessly transmitted signals and network deployments. The system analyses up to 20,000 transmission locations in a single study grid and up to 157 billion potential scenarios per grid. Among other things, SpectraMax™:
-
analyses all applications within defined frequency ranges
-
applies technical attributes and governmental rules and regulations in determining optimal outcomes
-
sorts and summarizes efficiency and value creation scenarios
-
scores and stack ranks scenarios in order of maximum efficiency and value creation
Radio & Television
BMT has used its proprietary technology and know-how to expand the coverage and quality of radio signals for over 20 years. Over those two decades, we successfully designed, constructed and materially improved dozens of analog and digital radio broadcast facilities, adding millions of new pops. The aggregate value we have created for ourselves and our partners in radio is nearly half a billion dollars. BMT’s technology and team have a consistent track record of adding value and listeners to radio stations across the country.
With the impending mandatory conversion of all domestic U.S. full power television stations from analog to digital transmission, BMT has moved aggressively into enhancing the value and utility of television spectrum. Since 2003, we have invested millions of dollars in software development initiatives, especially as relates to television. Whether low power (LPTV) or full power television, BMT is on the cutting edge of improving television broadcast facilities, creating coverage where none existed before, and exploiting the significant opportunities created by the digital conversion including utilization of spectrum "white space." By partnering with BMT, broadcast owners benefit from our proprietary know-how and software to dramatically improve the quality of their signals.
